Another fun episode of How I Met Your Mother tonight (followed, interestingly enough, by the original pilot).

Marshall (Jason Segel) is mugged, so Lily (Alyson Hannigan) decides she needs to get a gun to protect herself. Marshall decides to come up with a convoluted story so that Lily changes her mind about the pistol purchase.

With vibrant performances, refreshingly original storylines, and a great song, How I Met Your Mother is undoubtedly the new Friends.
